White is the new metal

MK Electric has introduced a white version of its popular, industrial-quality Metalclad Plus range. Metalclad Plus is purpose designed for super-tough environments – such as factories, workshops, garages, schools and laboratories – where an extra degree of durability and impact-resistant is desirable.
A white version of such a range is unique in the industrial accessories sector; and the range extension provides additional choice where an aesthetic impact-resistant wiring accessory alternative is required – such as in schools or other communal environments.

Metalclad Plus offers a comprehensive range of surface-mounted products, including switch sockets with outboard rockers and light switches with wide rockers, both useful when wearing gloves. An RCD protected socket is also available which is essential when operating power tools.

Frontplates have smoothly chamfered edges that fit flush with the backbox providing a neat finish; while total safety is provided for through MK’s three-pin operated child resistant shutter system, designed to inhibit access to the electricity supply unless all 3 pins of a standard British 13A plug are in position.
