The New Range, SHALLOVENT 3 Units, now use EC Backward Curved Fans, which are much quieter and more efficient. The fans have been carefully selected to exceed the requirements of ErP 2015.
The Fans are speed controllable by a 0-10 Volts or 10 mA Signal, so trimming to duty points is a simple affair. Air Quality Sensors or PIR Control are also available.
The Eurovent Certified Recuperators have efficiencies up to 77%. The selections are made with low air side pressure drops so that specific fan powers are kept as low as possible and the units are compliant with the Non-Domestic Building Services Compliance Guide.
Unlike some other makes, the Shallovent 3 Range uses recuperator bypasses for ‘Free Cooling’ in the Spring and Autumn Periods. This is an automatic function when the Control Package is ordered from Thermal Technology.
For very noise sensitive areas, such as music rooms, consulting rooms, classrooms etc. the standard double skin construction is complimented with additional high mass acoustic insulation. This Low Noise (LN) Version takes advantage of unit component insertion losses to minimise induct sound levels. The flexible connections on and off the unit are made from acoustic sound barrier material, with a transmission loss of 26 dB at 1 kHz. Vibration transmission is further minimised by the use of spring anti-vibration mounts.
At the end of the day, if its well designed, high quality engineering, you’re after, you will not find a better product than Thermal Technology’s Shallovent 3 Range.
