Potterton develops CD ROM

Potterton Commercial has developed a CD ROM containing literature, technical manuals and data sheets for all of the company’s products, as well as interactive animated 3D CAD drawings which will enable architects and specifiers to design virtual plant rooms on their computers.
The CD ROM has been designed to meet growing demand for portable literature libraries; an increasing number of companies are aiming to create paper-free environments and many building designers and specifiers travel between different offices and sites throughout their working day and need easy access to product information.

Richard Walker, National Sales and Marketing Manager at Potterton Commercial, said: “Carrying one CD ROM is obviously far less cumbersome than carrying individual brochures, manuals and data sheets around, and as the files can be easily accessed and downloaded it will also save time. Our new CD ROM ensures that anyone designing a heating system using Potterton Commercial boilers can find everything they need in one place.

“The interactive section of the CD ROM will also enable building designers and specifiers to configure plant rooms more effectively.”
