ELCO has supplied a 53kW THISION® S PLUS boiler with low loss header to Yeovil Land Rover, Somerset. As one of the first installations of this new boiler in the UK, the unit is supplying highly efficient heating and hot water to the pre-delivery inspection area adjacent to the main showroom. The boiler has been installed on a new system, as part of ongoing developments of the dealership’s buildings.
The boiler was specified and installed by Tim Mills of Dorset-based M&E contractors United Mechanical Ltd. The THISION® S PLUS was chosen due to its pioneering design, which offers class-leading levels of energy efficiency. Commenting on ELCO, Tim said: “We’ve worked with ELCO on other projects in the past, so we knew the quality of their product would be high. The new boiler offered some great features and was particularly easy to install, arriving well packaged and with its connections easily accessible.”
The completely new THISION® S PLUS offers extremely low NOx and CO emissions, thanks to a specially configured heat exchanger which optimises flue gases. The boiler is available in three models: 34kW, 45kW and 53kW – each of which has a class-leading A/A+ energy efficiency rating, making them perfect for a variety of new and replacement projects.
