New Firecap sleeves

Aico Ltd has just added four new specialist fire sleeves to its best-selling Firecap range of intumescent fire safety products. New Firecap Electrical Trunking Fire Sleeves are designed to prevent the spread of fire through service penetrations made for electrical trunking.
Firecap Pipe, Conduit and SWA Fire Sleeves are designed to stop the spread of fire through service penetrations made for pipes and conduits. Firecap Cable Tray Fire Sleeves are designed to prevent the spread of fire through service penetrations for cable trays, while new Firecap Ventilation Duct Fire Sleeves prevent the spread of fire through service penetrations made for the passage of ventilation ducting.

Meeting all the requirements of the UK Building Standards and IEE Regulations, the new Firecap sleeves are suitable for use with a wide range of metal and/or PVC electrical and plumbing products through a wide range of fire partition and floors, providing a two hour fire & smoke ‘stop’ through all common wall constructions and partitions. In their passive state they also provide a cold smoke seal as well as thermal and acoustic insulation.
