Faber Maunsell has announced two key business development appointments for its expanding northern offices.
Martyn Howie is joining the consultant’s Leeds office, after a number of years with architectural practice, Jefferson Sheard, while Martyn Vincent is returning to his native north east roots after working for the last 13 years in Scotland for the UK’s largest supplier of pre-cast concrete, Bison Concrete. He is joining the team based in Newcastle. Both bring many years of built environment and in Martyn Vincent’s case, engineering experience with them to their new roles.
Speaking about these latest appointments and the growth of Faber Maunsell in the north of England, Regional Director, Peter Drenon, said: “We are enjoying a period of steady and sustainable growth in both the Newcastle and Leeds offices and in order to continue securing our position on prestigious multimillion pound projects across a diverse sector base it is important that we recruit people with the right skills.  In the case of business development, strong interpersonal skills, coupled with a knowledge of the built environment are important. Both our new recruits possess these qualities and with ongoing training and personal development I am confident they will add a new dimension to our organisation.”
