The Leeds office of Faber Maunsell has appointed Henry Salmon as a graduate engineer in its geo-environmental department.
Originally from Lincoln, Henry studied civil engineering at Cardiff University and is now benefiting from Faber Maunsell’s graduate training programme. The training scheme is purposely designed to build real world skills, such as project management and negotiation onto the academic knowledge graduates acquire at university.
Currently assisting with desk studies and ground investigations, Henry is looking forward to achieving his Chartership, he said: “I chose Faber Maunsell because of its size and scope of work, and its reputation for being a fantastic place to work. I have been assigned a mentor who will assist me in my chosen accreditation. The imparting of knowledge from the team about the skills that I will need to qualify will be invaluable.”
