Helvar director elected chair of DALI board
Peter van der Kolk, Helvar’s Business Development Director, who has represented Helvar on the board for DALI for five years, has been elected and appointed as Chairman of the DALI Board.
Peter brings his 15 years of experience working with lighting and lighting controls to his new role and in his time with Helvar, has become a specialist in emerging LED technologies and control of LED light sources.
“My appointment as the Chairman of the DALI board is a great honour for me and comes at such an exciting time for the organisation,” says Peter. “At the last board meeting we established a new structure for DALI with dedicated technical and marketing work groups. 2013 is set to be a strong year for the DALI standard – watch this space.”
Peter has worked at Helvar since 2007 and manages the LED product ranges, including drivers. In addition to this he also oversees the business growth, profitability and marketing of Helvar’s LED business.
