GE Lighting has announced new additions to its dimmable solutions range of retrofit lamps. The range, which currently includes 5W-6.5W LED GU10 lamps, will now also include 7W-7XW LED MR16 lamps. The range also offers the aesthetic qualities of conventional lamps, substantial energy savings and a long replacement life of up to 25,000 hours (L70), making the LEDs an ideal solution for retail and hospitality applications.
Both the LED MR16 and LED GU10 lamps offer specifiers the flexibility to replace traditional lamps commonly used for down lighting and accent lighting applications. Furthermore, all the lamps have a retrofit cap so there is no need for a costly change of fixtures.
The LED GU10 6.5W large-size lamp provides 380-450 lumens for a better than 50W halogen replacement, while the GU10 5W standard IEC-size lamp provides 220-270 lumens, which is better than a 35W halogen.
In addition, the new LED MR16 7W provides higher output than a 35W halogen lamp at 370-430 lumens, while the 7XW offers a whopping 440-510 lumens for a 50W halogen replacement. Further benefits include multiple beam angles and three colour temperatures.
