Five star luxury for new hotel
An award-winning hotel, setting new international standards for luxury, has installed a wide range of Trox air handling equipment to ensure the perfect environment for its discerning guests.
The new 5-star Kameha hotel in Bonn, designed by architect Karl-Heinz Schommer, was named one of the world’s best international real estate projects at the MIPIM real estate trade fair in Cannes.
The hotel, owned by The Lifestyle Hospitality & Entertainment Group, has a number of striking features, including an 18 metre high event hall capable of holding 2,500 people. Top Dutch designer Marcel Wanders was responsible for the neo-baroque influenced interior design of the hotel’s 190 rooms and 63 suites.
Outstanding levels of comfort for guests are a priority for the hotel’s owners and, to this end, the engineering team for the project approached Trox to supply the all important air conditioning equipment. Trox supplied countless grilles, slot, swirl and floor diffusers, volume flow controllers and sound attenuators, as well as smoke detectors and fire dampers, for this prestigious site.
Mark Dawes, International Sales Manager of TROX UK said: “This is an outstanding building setting new international standards in occupant comfort. The TROX Group is very proud to have been selected to create the perfect environment for this award-winning hotel.”
