Extending the options with the new Eurocondense Three from Potterton Commercial
Potterton Commercial’s trusted Eurocondense range has been completely transformed, resulting in the launch of the brand new Eurocondense three. This high efficiency floor standing condensing boiler incorporates many of the impressive elements used in the highly successful Eurocondense two range, with a number of marked changes that further improve efficiency, siting options and ease of installation.
Aesthetically, Eurocondense three is smaller and lighter with a reduced footprint, making it suitable for most plant rooms, even those with space limitations. The internal layout has been completely redesigned to accommodate a sectional heat exchanger and a single burner assembly that slides out for ease of servicing. Hydraulic electrical and flue connections are now top mounted, making the appliance easier to install and minimising the amount of space required for working access. This design also allows the boiler to be compatible with a wider range of accessories such as pipework header kits, a variety of flue kits and there is a room-sealed option. In addition, Eurocondense three is one of the best performing commercial boilers on the market in terms of low noise, producing only 54 dB(A) @ 1 metre, due to the redesign of the fan, the bearings and the inner acoustics of the unit.
“Since it was first introduced, Eurocondense has been one of our most popular boiler ranges,” explains Adrian Morris, Product Manager. “As we listened to our customers, we looked at how this range could be adapted to further meet the needs of installers, and the result is the new Eurocondense three. The smaller footprint and top-mounted connections ensure this boiler can be installed quickly, as well as allowing for ease of maintenance. Equally, the even higher efficiency levels and low NOX emissions fulfil current and upcoming legislation for low carbon buildings, delivering added benefits for both the specifier and the end user.”
Available in five outputs, 125, 170, 215, 260 and 300 kW, Eurocondense three is suited to a wide variety of applications, including schools, colleges, small hospitals, office blocks and stadiums. Large commercial and industrial applications are also catered for, as these boilers can be installed in a cascade system, in a formation of up to 15 boilers in line or 15 boilers back-to-back, producing a maximum output of 4500kW.
As with the previous Eurocondense models, Eurocondense three utilises the very latest heating technology with an aluminium/ silicon heat exchanger that comes with an industry leading lifetime guarantee* and a combustion system which delivers exceptional energy efficiency as well as advanced ultra low NOx performance of less than 35mg/kWh (class 5). It also incorporates an easy to use Integrated System Regulator (ISR) controls platform, which includes inbuilt time control facilities for heating and DHW, servicing and commissioning functions, a parameter reset function, a full text display of
parameters and fault diagnostics, input and output testing and simpler programming and end user settings.
