City Plumbing has introduced a range of cost-effective heat pump accessories including cylinders, diverter valves, feet and fluid to its exclusive brandSolfex, providing installers with all they need to complete renewable installations with ease.
With a long history of innovation in renewable energy technology, the Solfex air source heat pump installation accessories build on the specialist range of solutions already available in City Plumbing branches.
The new range includes Solfex’s unvented heat pump cylinders, which feature a high-flow, high-gain, full bore coil design to provide superior performance. The Solfex cylinders are supplied with all the required components and controls to provide seamless compatibility with the majority of heat pumps, and all come with a 10-year warranty.
Solfex’s diverter valves have high kV, ideal for high flow rates. They feature motorised valves, are compact and easy to install.
The new heat pump feet range provides a variety of options to best fit the installation needs. This includes pairs of premium 600mm feet with integrated spirit levels for correct positioning, through to the flexi foot kits, designed to support heat pumps by providing a sturdy base whilst preventing vibration transmission to the ground.
The new range of heat transfer fluids offers key functions, including low viscosity and high thermal conductivity for optimised heat pump performance. The fluids are biodegradable, non-hazardous and contain a specially formulated biocide and an additive to increase thermal stability.
