BluCube from Airedale
Airedale International Air Conditioning has launched the BluCube high efficiency R410A condensing unit with heat pump variant.
The BluCube offers 44% more cooling/sq m than Airedale’s previous generation condensing unit and up to 30% increase in system efficiency when optimised with the Remote Electronic Expansion Valve (REEV).
With 24 models across the range, the BluCube provides heating and cooling for industry standard air handling units across a wide selection of ambients in split system applications. The heat pump variant (14 – 44kW) is ideal for a wide range of comfort applications whilst the cooling-only system (13 – 40kW) can be matched with air conditioning units of selected manufacturers in a data centre cooling application.
The cooling-only option offers a favourable cost advantage and is included on the Energy Technology List (ETL) offering the potential for investors in energy saving equipment to claim 100% first-year capital allowance.
Energy saving options also include variable capacity control, modulating head pressure control and EC fans which give energy savings of more than 80% compared with an AC fan at certain conditions.
