BITZER UK has appointed James Graham as its new managing director, effective 1 January 2026. James succeeds the outgoing managing director, Kevin Glass, who retired at the end of December 2025.

James Graham brings extensive expertise to the role, with 32 years of experience in the refrigeration industry. Before joining BITZER UK, James held senior roles at several blue-chip refrigeration and compressor specialists, giving him a deep understanding of the market and the sector’s technical demands.

James joined BITZER UK as sales director five and a half years ago. During this time, he has worked closely with Kevin Glass, receiving mentorship and guidance to ensure a seamless leadership transition. This period of collaboration guarantees that the company’s values and strategic vision remain consistent as the leadership torch is passed.

“I am honoured to take on the position of Managing Director at BITZER UK,” said James Graham. “Having worked in the refrigeration industry for over three decades, and with this talented team for the last five and a half years, I look forward to leading the company into its next chapter.”

James is particularly optimistic about the market landscape for the coming year.

“Refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pumps are fantastic sectors to be in right now,” Graham continued. “The industry continues to grow due to population growth, the challenges of climate change, and the rapid adoption of advanced technologies. BITZER UK is perfectly positioned to support these changes through our technology and innovation.”

As the company looks toward 2026 and beyond, it will remain focused on the core pillars that have defined the brand’s reputation: quality, support, and innovation. This includes specific plans for Green Point UK. Following a successful 2025 performance, James intends to drive continued growth and development for the Green Point division in the coming year.

BITZER UK would like to thank Kevin Glass for his dedicated service and mentorship, wishing him a long and happy retirement.
