Powrmatic has supplied a range of Midea high wall and cassette heat pump air conditioners to provide cooling and heating at Appliances Direct’s showroom and sales office at South Normanton in Derbyshire.
Appliances Direct is the specialist appliance division of the BuyItDirect Group, offering a wide range of domestic appliances at very competitive prices. As well as selling online, the company also operates large showrooms at South Normanton and Huddersfield, receiving thousands of visitors every year.
Victor Stoica, Appliances Direct’s HVAC Business Manager, commented: “We sell Midea air conditioners because they are high quality and good value for money. Therefore, when we decided to install air conditioning in our showroom it made sense to use Midea units so we could also demonstrate them to customers. It was also a good opportunity to provide more efficient air conditioning in the sales office, which had previously been using portable air conditioners.”
The units were installed by Appliances Direct’s sister company AirConDirect, which worked closely with Powrmatic to design a system that would provide optimum energy efficiency and performance for each space.
