EDGE PRO and BIG EDGE PRO – the new high-performance, environmentally friendly residential heat pumps – Awarded iF DESIGN AWARD 2025
At Installer Show 2025, Clivet presents its innovative air-to-water packaged heat pumps: EDGE PRO, from 4 to 16 kW and BIG EDGE PRO, from 18 to 40 kW. An advanced technology that contributes to increasing the energy class of residential buildings, with environmental and economic benefits.
The EDGE PRO and BIG EDGE PRO heat pumps are an efficient and environmentally friendly home comfort solution. Designed to provide heating, cooling and domestic hot water in homes as a valid alternative to traditional boilers, they use the natural refrigerant R-290, which has a very low environmental impact. They are also quiet and easy to use. In terms of energy efficiency, they achieve class A+++ for heating with both low- (35 °C) and medium-temperature water (55 °C), offering exceptional performance even in the production of high-temperature water.
Thanks to the elegance of the new ALTODesign aesthetics, EDGE PRO and BIG EDGE PRO adapt to any requirement and installation type, including outdoor installations as a monobloc version or in combination with a hydronic indoor module.
These heat pumps also provide an ideal solution for those installations where a high level of silence is required, thanks to the special design of the fans and the two silent operating modes. In addition, in EDGE PRO, the compressor is positioned inside a ‘silent box’ made of several layers of sound-absorbing material specially designed to reduce compressor noise by up to -25 dB(A).
EDGE PRO and BIG EDGE PRO are characterised by their wide operating ranges, guaranteeing reliable performance down to -25 °C outside temperature. EDGE PRO is capable of producing water at 80 °C even at -10 °C outside, while BIG EDGE PRO further increases performance by producing water at 85 °C down to -15 °C outside temperature.
The extended operating ranges, combined with new control logic and different system types, allow a wide range of applications for these units. In larger systems, up to six units can also be connected in cascade.
The control system is intuitive, with a full-colour graphic interface that facilitates daily use. The Wi-Fi connection also allows the heat pump functions to be managed via a dedicated app, enabling remote control.
The EDGE PRO and BIG EDGE PRO heat pumps are an integral part of the Clivet Smart Living system and are compatible with CONTROL4 NRG for efficient management of the entire appliance. Equipped with the Smart-grid function, they operate within advanced electricity grids or in combination with photovoltaic systems.

Clivet presents FULLNESS, the revolutionary All-in-One heat pump solution without outdoor unit that exploits heat pump technology to guarantee total and sustainable comfort for any housing solution: offering efficiency and sustainability, even in small spaces.
Heat pumps are an ideal solution for air conditioning and a practical and environmentally friendly choice for maintaining a comfortable environment even in confined spaces.

This multifunctional system offers:
- heating and cooling;
- domestic hot water production;
- mechanical ventilation with thermodynamic recovery;
- electronic filtration and dehumidification.
Thanks to its heat pump technology, FULLNESS guarantees optimal comfort through a system that quickly and precisely regulates temperature and humidity. The colour user interface makes it easy to set the desired conditions.
Its plus’:
- efficiency and speed – the low thermal inertia of the air allows you to switch quickly from heating to cooling, even in free cooling mode;
- domestic hot water – the unit can maintain the water temperature in the optional tank, which can be installed under or next to the main module;
- air purification – electronic filtration removes moisture and pollutants, ensuring healthy and safe air all year round;
- cost reduction and ease of installation.
FULLNESS uses controlled mechanical ventilation ducts to simplify installation, eliminating the need for central heating units or satellite modules. This reduces installation time and overall costs, thereby increasing energy efficiency and building value.
Hydro-Split: the split hydronic Clivet heat pumps for residential have arrived
Clivet’s wide range of heat pumps is enriched with the new Hydro-Split, consisting of an external monobloc heat pump from the EDGE family and a hydronic module, connected by hydraulic connections through which water flows. A novelty to ensure natural comfort at home while respecting the environment.
Clivet’s Hydro-Split heat pumps provide an efficient, environmentally friendly and space-savingsolution for the residential sector, delivering the ideal climate all year round.
The new solution consists of an external monobloc heat pump from the EDGE family and a hydronic module, which are connected via water-flowing hydraulic connections.
The hydronic module is available in different versions to suit all types of homes:
- Hydro-Split TOWER version (HQCN-NEE 1 TC) with 190 and 250 litre domestic hot water storage and a wide range of integrated accessories
- Hydro-Split BOX version (HQCN-NEE 1 BC) with compact dimensions similar to those of a boiler, rich equipment, 12-litre expansion tank and 15-litre buffer tank
- Hydro-Split INVISIBLE version (HQCN-NEE 1 IC) space-saving built-in solution with new aesthetic cabinet for outdoor installation
- Hydro-Split MINI version (HQCN-NEE 1 MC), ideal for mini-apartments with 50 litre domestic hot water storage tank
Digital solutions for the residential and commercial sectors
For the residential sector, Clivet Smart Living has been developed, the modular and composable comfort and energy management system, which allows the various units to be purchased separately and integrated over time, according to the needs of the home: heat pump, air renewal and purification system, controls, room terminals, SINERGY energy storage, remote management via the renewed Clivet EYE app.
For the management of medium and large sized systems, both in the residential and commercial sectors, as well as in industrial processes, Clivet Smart Building has been developed with INTELLIPLANT dedicated to the efficient management of centralised hydronic systems (heat pumps, chillers, multifunctional and pumping units) and INTELLIAIR for the centralised management of Roof-Top autonomous air conditioning units and ZEPHIR primary air in commercial applications (such as shopping centres, multiplex cinemas).
Interactivity for professionals and visitors
At Installer Show, Clivet also offers interactive tools to improve the visitor experience. Professionals can access a configurator that allows them to customise the system best suited to the specific needs of their homes, choosing the various elements of the system and configuring independently or with the support of a Clivet expert the most suitable system for the home they are designing, also in relation to the building’s energy class, climate band, number of occupants, etc.
